Some forms of silica are opaque, other sands are translucent or transparent. The translucent variety we call glass sands. These sands make beautiful colored aggregate for landscaping, pools and other applications.

We can consult with individual mines and design colors and applications that may work in local areas, allowing mines themselves to develop local applications suitable for their market areas.
